We are committed to the revitalization of the City of Poughkeepsie, and embracing a better future for the children, the residents, and the visitors. We recognize that Wheaton Park and Pelton Mansion are "crown jewels" on the banks of the Hudson River; a welcoming home for the visual arts- creating an open space where visitors and residents, children and adults, can stroll, mingle, create, view created work, experience nature- and where our adaptively-imagined, historic-register-listed building and green space, can host diverse opportunities for people to live, work, and play.

Andrés San Millán’s Art Nouveau inspired structure, the Wheaton Park Bridge; a 1000 foot continuous circular promenade, fabricated of local sustainable materials, will anchor a new international art destination in the city of Poughkeepsie, incorporating the revitalized Pelton Art Center and the outdoor green space- as a showplace for art, nature, and children's play. This site will become a gateway to an economically and culturally vibrant Hudson Valley region- benefitting from, and experienced, through Art.
